Abstract

Politike identiteta sve su zastupljenije u političkim diskursima suvremenih političara, a pogotovo kada je riječ o desnim populističkim opcijama. Rad se bavi politikama identiteta u kontekstu Slobodarske stranke Austrije (FPÖ) te prikazuje kako ih stranka koristi kao dio svoje desne populističke retorike. Kako bi pružio cjelovit prikaz teme, rad prvo opisuje specifičan društveno-politički razvoj i kontekst Austrije koji je omogućio identitetske politike kakve imamo danas. Ostatak rada fokusiran je na specifične načine na koji FPÖ koristi politike identiteta te što one po svome sadržaju zapravo jesu, kako percipiraju središnje društvene pojmove kao što su država i nacija.

Abstract (english)

Nowadays, identity politics are becoming more and more used in modern politics, especially when it comes to right political options. This paper analyzes identity politics in the context of Freedom party of Austria (FPÖ) and displays their usage in the right populist rethoric. In order to give a complete analysis of the subject, this paper first describes the specific socio-political development and context of Austria which enabled todays’ identity politics. The rest of this paper is focused on different ways in which FPÖ uses the identity politics and what in their content they really are, how they explain central social terms such as state and nation.
