Abstract

politikom za mlade te istraživanjem stavova dijela studentske populacije o Europskoj uniji, koristima i troškovima integracije te njihovom percepcijom budućnosti s obzirom da je ona u njihovim rukama. Za potrebe rada provedeno je istraživanje putem online ankete među studentima i bivšim studentima od 18 do 30 godina koji su članovi Facebook grupa „Studentski dom Stjepan Radić“, „Studentski dom Bruno Bušić“ i „FPZG, novinarstvo, 5.godina“. Ispitanici su odgovarali na sveukupno 25 pitanja , a ukupno je sudjelovalo 237 studenata i bivših studenata koji čine uzorak ankete. Tematika pitanja je bila vezana uz samu temu rada, a odgovorima ispitanika pokazano je da su percepcija i stavovi o Europskoj uniji uglavnom pozitivni, a kao najveće koristi članstva se ističu slobodno kretanje ljudi, roba i usluga te studentske razmjene. Istraživanjem je pokazano da su ispitanici nezadovoljni trenutnim stanjem u Hrvatskoj, ali vlada optimizam glede budućnosti. Ovakvi stavovi su posljedica dugotrajne ekonomske krize, no ovim radom pokazano je da vlada nada u bolju budućnost građana i same Republike Hrvatske kao dijela europske obitelji.

Abstract (english)

The study deals with the European Union, Croatian access to the European Union , youth, youth policy and includes research attitudes of the part of student population in Croatia towards EU, benefits and costs of integration and their perception of the future considering the fact that the future is in their hands. For the purpose of study, a research was conducted through an online survey among students and alumni from 18 to 30 years old who are members of the Facebook group „Studentski dom Stjepan Radić“, „Studentski dom Bruno Bušić“ and „FPZG, novinarstvo, 5.godina“. Each participant answered 25 questions and a total number of participants was 237 that make a sample of research. The topic of the questions was related to the very subject of the work and through gained figures the conclusion is that the perception and attitudes towards the EU are generally positive, greatest benefits of membership are free movement of people, goods and services and student exchange programs. The research showed that the participants are dissatisfied with the current situation in Croatia but they are still optimistic about the future. These attitudes are result of long-lasting economic crisis, but this study shows that there is hope in better future for citizens and also for Croatia as a part of European future.
