Abstract

Istraživanjem se željelo ustanoviti koliko slobodnog vremena srednjoškolci provedu koristeći svoj mobitel, na koje načine ga provode, postoji li emotivna ili fizička povezanost s mobilnim uređaje i posjeduju li znanje o digitalnim medijima. Anketnim upitnikom provedenim na 220 polaznika trećih razreda srednjih strukovnih škola, pokazalo se da se pola ispitanika uopće ne bavi sportom i da najviše njih provodi 2 do 5 sati dnevno na svom mobilnom uređaju. Također se utvrdilo da najviše srednjoškolaca na školske obaveze troši manje od 2 sata dnevno. Pola ispitanika nema nikakav hobi, a 95% njih ne zna što su digitalni mediji. Osim toga, utvrđeno je da su djevojke više vezane za svoje mobilne uređaje nego što su dečki. S druge strane, ispitanici muškog spola, za razliku od djevojaka, smatraju da kvalitetnije provode svoje slobodno vrijeme. Srednjoškolci tvrde da nisu emotivno povezani za svoje mobilne uređaje, no rezultati pokazuju da se prilikom izostanka mobitela iz njihove blizine, osjećaju nemirno. Rezultati istraživanja pokazuju da su mladi srednjoškolske dobi nesvjesni svoje povezanosti o mobilnim uređajima.

Abstract (english)

The study sought to determine how much free time high school students spend using their mobile phones, how they spend their free time, is there an emotional or physical connection to mobile devices and whether they have knowledge of digital media. A survey conducted on 220 third-grade highschool students showed, that half of the respondents did not practice sports at all and that most of them spend 2 to 5 hours a day on their mobile devices. It is also found that most highschool students spend less than 2 hours a day on schoolwork. Half of the respondents have no hobby, and 95% of them do not know what digital media is. In addition, girls were found to be more attached to their mobile devices than boys. On the other hand, male respondents, unlike girls, find that they spend their free time better. High school students say they are not emotionally connected to their mobile devices, but the results shows, that when they do not have a mobile phone near them, they feel restlessly. The results of the study show that highschool youths are unaware of their connection to mobile devices.
