Abstract

Long-term development of an economically and environmentally sustainable market for renewable energy sources should make the Croatian economy less dependent on imports of electricity and fossil fuels, and contribute to reducing overall greenhouse gas emissions.
In order to facilitate energy transition, a process of market integration of renewable energy sources needs to be encouraged through incentive system for renewable energy sources.
Final consumer in Croatia pays fee to encourage production from renewable energy sources on electricity bill. Amount of the fee is determined by Croatian Government and has been changed four times since 2007. Last change was in 2017 and had significant impact on final price of electricity.

Abstract (croatian)

Dugoročni ekonomski razvoj održivog tržišta obnovljivih izvora energije trebao bi učiniti hrvatsko gospodarstvo manje ovisnim o uvozu električne energije i fosilnih goriva i pridonijeti smanjenju ukupnih emisija stakleničkih plinova.
Da bi se olakšala energetska tranzicija, proces tržišne integracije obnovljivih izvora energije treba poticati kroz sustav poticaja za obnovljive izvore energije.
Krajnji potrošač u Hrvatskoj plaća naknadu za poticanje proizvodnje iz obnovljivih izvora energije na računu za električnu energiju. Visinu naknade utvrđuje Vlada Republike Hrvatske, a koja se mijenjala se četiri puta od 2007. Posljednja promjena bila je 2017. godine i imala je značajan utjecaj na konačnu cijenu električne energije.
