Abstract

Cilj ovog diplomskog rada bio je ispitati prakse i iskustva korištenja društvenih medija od strane osnovnoškolske djece. Nastojalo se utvrditi oblikuju li društvene mreže, i ako da na koji način, odnos osnovnoškolske djece i tradicionalnih socijalizacijskih agensa- roditelja, učitelja/ica i vršnjaka. Kako bi se odredio kontekst rada, iznesena je ideja socijalizacije, s posebnim naglaskom na proces primarne socijalizacije koji još uvijek prolaze ispitani osnovnoškolci. Detaljnije je objašnjen i odnos sociologije i razvojne psihologije te ostalih znanosti koje donose zapažanja važna za shvaćanje odnosa djeteta i njegovih socijalizacijskih posrednika. Središnji dio rada donosi ideju umreženog društva, stoga se u tom dijelu rada mogu pronaći značajke društvenih medija i društvene interakcije na internetu. U istraživačkom dijelu na temelju uzorka od 166 učenika dviju đakovačkih osnovnih škola nastoje se identificirati i opisati ponašanja djece na društvenim mrežama. Instrument kojim su prikupljeni podaci je anketni upitnik, analizom čijih se odgovora doznaje koja je uloga društvenih mreža u oblikovanju odnosa djece i roditelja, učenika i vršnjaka. Poseban osvrt bit će posvećen pitanju identiteta i samoostvarenja, a razmotrit će se i odnos učenika prema jeziku. Izneseni argumenti bit će potkrijepljeni sličnim istraživanjima i primjerima iz prakse. Nereprezentativan uzorak ne dozvoljava generalizaciju na bilo kojoj razini, ali nudi svojevrsni pogled na prakse korištenja društvenim mrežama od strane osnovnoškolaca iz manje gradske sredine. Ovaj rad može poslužiti kao polazna točka za dublju razradu i istraživanje bilo kojeg od dobivenih podataka.

Abstract (english)

The aim of this diploma thesis is to examine how social media is used by primary school children, how it is used in practice and what is their experience regarding this topic. One of the aims is to determine whether social media shapes the relationship between primary school children and traditional agents of socialization - parents, teachers and peers, and if it does, in what way. In order to determine the context of the work, the idea of socialization was presented with special emphasis on the process of primary socialization which is still happening to the primary school students who were surveyed. The relationship between sociology and developmental psychology and other sciences that analyze the relationship between the child and his socialization mediators, is also explained in more detail. The central part of this paper deals with the idea of the networked society, so in this part the features of social media and social interaction on the Internet can be found. The research part is based on a sample of 166 students from two primary schools in Đakovo and the aim was to identify and describe the behavior of children using social media. Survey questionnaire is the instrument used to collect the data and the analysis of those answers reveals the role of social media in shaping the relationship between children and parents, students and peers. Special attention is given to the question of identity and self-realization, and the students' attitude towards language will be considered. The unrepresentative sample does not allow generalization at any level, but it offers a kind of view of the practices of using social media by primary school students from a smaller urban area. This paper could be used as a starting point for more detailed elaboration and research of any of the obtained data.
