Abstract

U ovom radu ispituje se mogućnost primjene metode design thinkinga u kontekstu razrade projektne ideje i pripreme projektnog prijedloga. Pojam design thinkinga definira se kao način rješavanja nekog problema s pomoću unaprijed definiranog procesa te skupa metoda i tehnika. U fokusu pristupa design thinkinga je korisnik i njegovo iskustvo te se prema njemu osmišljava inovativno rješenje problema, kroz 4 osnovne faze: identifikaciju problema, stjecanje dubinskog razumijevanja problema, razvoj ideja te izradu prototipa do krajnjeg rješenja. U pripremi projekata financiranih sredstvima Europske unije uobičajeno se koristi pristup logičke matrice, kao dio skupine alata za izradu i upravljanje projektima pod nazivom „Upravljanje projektnim ciklusom“. Iako je pristup logičke matrice kao analitički alat dokazano učinkovit, ovim radom se kroz studiju slučaja prikazuje na koji način metode design thinkinga mogu komplementarno dopuniti pristup logičke matrice, dodajući mu elemente kreativnosti koji u konačnici mogu pridonijeti razvoju projektnih ideja koje bi time dobile dodatnu vrijednost bolje prilagođenosti korisniku. Zaključak je rada da se navedeno može ostvariti, između ostalog, promatranjem korisnika i opažanjem onoga što korisnici ne verbaliziraju prilikom intervjua ili fokus grupa te korištenjem pilotiranja odnosno testiranja proizvoda ili usluga prije njihove finalizacije.

Abstract (english)

This paper examines the possibility of applying the design thinking method in the context of developing a project idea and preparing a project proposal. The term design thinking is defined as a way of solving a problem using a predefined process and a set of methods and techniques. The focus of the design thinking approach are the user and his experience. According to the design thinking approach, an innovative solution to the problem is designed through 4 basic phases: problem identification, gaining in-depth understanding of the problem, developing ideas, and prototyping the final solution. A logical matrix approach is commonly used in preparation of projects financed by the European Union, as part of project development and management tools called “Project Cycle Management”. Although the logical matrix approach has been proven to be effective as an analytical tool, this paper examines a case study how design thinking methods can complement the logical matrix approach, adding the elements of creativity that can ultimately contribute to the development of project ideas which are user oriented. The conclusion of the paper is that this can be achieved, among other things, by observing users and especially observing what users do not verbalize during interviews or focus groups, and by using piloting or testing products or services before its finalization.
