Abstract

U ovom se diplomskom radu tematizira reprezentacija TV voditeljica na hrvatskim news portalima, te njihov prikaz u odnosu na TV voditelje. Stereotipi i određene uloge koje se nameću ženama u medijima, način na koji mediji potiču širenje stereotipa, te rodna neravnopravnost. Prikazuje se medijska objektivizacija na više različitih načina, koja se sve više pojavljuje, te je objašnjen njezin negativan utjecaj na javnost. Istaknuta je zastupljenost žena u medijima, kako i kontekst sadržaja u kojem se one pojavljuju. Kako su news portali dio naše svakodnevice, te glavni izvor informacija, opisana su četiri hrvatska news portala kako bi se dobio bolji dojam o njihovom načinu objavljivanja. Napravljeno je i istraživanje, odnosno kvantitativna analiza sadržaja članaka na četiri hrvatska news portala, na temlju kojih su izvedeni zaključci.

Abstract (english)

In this master thesis deals with the representation of female TV presenters on Croatian News Websites, and their presentation in relation to male TV presenters. Stereotypes and certain roles imposed on women in the media, and the way in which the media encourages the spread of stereotypes, and gender inequality. Media objectification is presented in several different ways, which is appearing more and more, and its negative impact on the public is explained. The representation of women in the media was emphasized, as well as the context of the content in which they appear. As News Websites are part of our everyday life, and the main source of information, four Croatian news Websites have been described in order to get a better impression of how they are published. A research that was conducted, a quantitative analysis of the content of articles on four Croatian News Websites, on which basis the conclusions were drawn.
