Abstract

Rad se bavi utjecajem pandemije COVID-19 na izvedbene umjetnosti u Hrvatskoj. Na samom početku rada, uz definiciju izvedbenih umjetnosti, gdje se naglasak stavlja na kazališta, pobliže se opisuju teorijski koncepti izvedbene umjetnosti tijekom kriznog stanja. Navode se i najčešći promotivni alati, gdje društvene mreže slove kao važeći. Ključan dio rada je provedeno istraživanje koje je učinjeno prema metodi intervju. Analiziralo se osam kazališta diljem Hrvatske te se na temelju odgovora koji su pružili osobe odgovorne za rad u odjelu odnosa s javnošću ili marketinga, dalje dao kritički osvrt te su se dalje potvrdile ili opovrgnule hipoteze istraživanja. Glavni zaključci istraživanja su da je pandemija koronavirusa imala ogroman utjecaj na samo poslovanje i program izvedbenih umjetnosti u Hrvatskoj. Kazališta su morala prilagoditi svoje poslovanje i uvesti novitete kao što je bila prijelazak na online sadržaj kazališta. Društvene mreže su se pokazale kao ključne tijekom komuniciranja s publikom. Kulturi se još uvijek ne pridaje toliki značaj kao drugim djelatnostima u Hrvatskoj. Broj posjetitelja kazalištu je pao nakon popuštanja prvih epidemioloških mjera. Funkcioniranje kazališta u pandemijsko vrijeme i osvješćivanje odnosa prema kulturi su glavni doprinosti ovoga rada.

Abstract (english)

The paper deals with the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the performing arts in Croatia. At the very beginning of the paper, in addition to the definition of performing arts, where the emphasis is on theaters, the theoretical concepts of performing arts during the crisis are described in more detail. The most common promotional tools are also listed, where social networks are known as valid. A key part of the paper is the research conducted according to the interview method. Eight theaters across Croatia were analyzed, and based on the answers provided by those responsible for working in the public relations or marketing department, a critical review was given and the research hypotheses were further confirmed or refuted. The main conclusions of the research are that the coronavirus pandemic had a huge impact on the business and the performing arts program in Croatia. Theaters had to adapt their business and introduce innovations such as the transition to online theater content. Social networks have proven to be crucial in communicating with audiences. Culture is still not given as much importance as other activities in Croatia. The number of visitors to the theater fell after the first epidemiological measures were relaxed. The functioning of theater in pandemic times and raising awareness of attitudes towards culture are the main contributions of this paper.
