Abstract

O građanskom odgoju i obrazovanju u Hrvatskoj govori se još od 90-ih godina prošloga stoljeća, no i danas je njegova provedba manjkava i problematična. Naime, građanski odgoj i obrazovanje provodi se kroskurikularno odnosno kao međupredmetna tema. Jako je puno kritika na ovakav model te mnogi smatraju da bi se GOO trebao provoditi kao poseban nastavni predmet što je slučaj s većinom zemalja Europske unije. Jako je velik pritisak na same nastavnike koji bi trebali teme GOO-a integrirati u svoje redovne predmete. Cilj rada je prikazati stvarno stanje u provedbi građanskog odgoja i obrazovanja u hrvatskim školama. Stoga se istraživačko pitanje ovoga rada bavi ispitivanjem iskustava nastavnika i nastavnica s novim kurikulumom za međupredmetnu temu Građanski odgoj i obrazovanje u školama u Republici Hrvatskoj. Nastojat će prikazati kakva je najnovija situacija i ima li kakvih promjena od 2019. godine kada je novi nacionalni kurikulum stupio na snagu.

Abstract (english)

Civic education in Croatia has been talked about since the 90s of the last century, but even today its implementation is problematic. Civic education is carried out cross-curricularly, that is, as an inter-subject topic. There is a lot of criticism of this model, and many believe that civic education should be implemented as a separate subject, which is the case with most countries of the European Union. There is a lot of pressure on the teachers who should integrate civic education topics into their regular subjects. The goal of this research is to present the actual situation in the implementation of civic education in Croatian schools. Therefore, the research question of this paper deals with examining the experiences of teachers with the new curriculum for the cross-curricular subject Civic education in schools in the Republic of Croatia. It will try to show what the latest situation is and whether there have been any changes since 2019, when the new national curriculum came into force.
