Abstract

Banovina je stoljećima imala veliku vojnu važnost zbog svog geografskog položaja, posebno u obrani od Osmanlija. Unatoč bogatoj povijesti, očuvanoj tradiciji i prekrasnoj prirodi, ova regija još uvijek nije uspjela izgraditi prepoznatljiv identitet koji bi privukao posjetitelje i investitore. Svrha ovog diplomskog rada bila je proučiti na koje se načine Banovina može kvalitetno brendirati. U radu se pruža teorijski okvir brendiranja destinacija, identiteta i imidža, analizira se turistička ponuda Banovine, provodi empirijsko istraživanje među lokalnim stanovništvom, intervjuira relevantne osobe na vlasti te se izrađuje SWOT analiza.

Abstract (english)

Banovina has had significant military importance for centuries due to its geographical position, especially in defense against the Ottomans. Despite its rich history, preserved traditions, and beautiful nature, this region has yet to establish a recognizable identity that would attract visitors and investors. The purpose of this master's thesis was to examine effective strategies for branding Banovina. The thesis provides a theoretical framework for destination branding, identity, and image, analyzes the tourism offerings of Banovina, conducts empirical research among the local population, interviews relevant authorities, and includes a SWOT analysis.
