Abstract

Tema ovog diplomskog rada je analiza medijskog prikaza zemalja na specijaliziranom portalu za gastronomiju i putovanja Punkufer. Analiza sadržaja odabrana je zato što medijski tekst koje proizvode mediji utječu na javno mnijenje, kako na njegovo stvaranje, tako i na njegovo oblikovanje. Iako su utjecaji medija u stvaranju javnog mnijenja naširoko istraženi, kao i tema stereotipi, baš specifična tema ovog rada nije, barem ne u Hrvatskoj. Stereotipi se prisutni svugdje u medijima, pa tako i među ljudima, ali i na travel portalima, odnosno u putopisnom novinarstvu.

Abstract (english)

The topic of this thesis is the analysis of the media representation of countries on the specialized portal for gastronomy and travel Punkufer. Content analysis was chosen because the media text produced by the media influences public opinion, both in its creation and in its shaping. Although the influence of the media in creating public opinion has been widely researched, as well as the topic of stereotypes, the specific topic of this paper is not, at least not in Croatia. Stereotypes are present everywhere in the media, among people, but also on travel portals, i.e. in travel journalism.
