Abstract
Osnovni cilj ovog istraživanja je bio utvrđivanje stavova jednog dijela studentske populacije članstvu u NATO-u. Kako bi se ostvario cilj istraživanja u radu je predstavljen pregled dostupne literature koja se odnosi na temu istraživanja te je provedeno anketno istraživanje među studentima Sveučilišta u Zagrebu. Rezultati su pokazali kako mladi imaju pozitivan stav prema članstvu RH u NATO savezu. Ono što na određeni način zabrinjava ispitanike je slanje hrvatskih vojnika u mirovne misije, ipak većina ispitanika je prepoznala pozitivan utjecaj koji NATO ima na RH.
Abstract (english)
The main purpose of this research was to determine perception of students in Croatia regarding Croatian membership in the NATO. In order to achieve the purpose of the research an overview of the literature related to this specific topic was presented. In addition, as a part of this research a survey has been made among the students of University of Zagreb. Results showed that students support Croatian membership in the NATO. Sending Croatian soldiers to peacekeeping mission is something that creates concern for Croatian students. Nevertheless, most respondentsrecognizedthepositive influence NATO has on the Republic of Croatia.
