Abstract

Ovaj diplomski rad obradio je utjecaj geografskog položaja Turske na njen odnos moći prema drugim zemljama. Objedinjene su povijesne činjenice, period nastanka moderne Republike Turske, društvene promjene zadnjih par desetljeća, zadnja društveno politička zbivanja, te procjene budućih zbivanja. Analiziran je geografski položaj Turske na tijek zbivanja u svakoj pojedinoj vremenskoj distanci. Pojašnjenje gornjih razloga nalazi se u izuzetno važnom geopolitičkom i geostrateškom položaju Turske koji joj daje veliku regionalnu, ali i svjetsku važnost. Abstract (english)

This graduate thesis has worked out the influence of Turkey's geographic position on its relationship with other countries. There are united historical facts, the period of the emergence of the modern Republic of Turkey, the social changes of the past few decades, the latest social and political events and the estimates of future events. The geographic position of Turkey was analyzed on the course of events in each particular time interval. There are well-founded reasons why the countries of... More the region, the European Union and world leaders are not more actively involved in violating human rights in Turkey, as well as in necessarily addressing the Kurdish problem. The explanation for the above reasons lies in the extremely important geopolitical and geostrategic position of Turkey, which gives it great regional as well as world importance.
