Abstract

Integracija u međunarodne organizacije ključan je način osiguranja stabilizacije Bosne i Hercegovine. Pristupanje NATO savezu i Europskoj uniji nosi brojna institucionalna ojačanja postojećeg aranžmana definiranog Dejtonskim mirovnim sporazumom. Potrebno je iskoristiti perspektive koje nudi članstvo u ovim organizacijama kako bi se provele ozbiljne reforme i prilagodbe s ciljem uspostave kvalitetnog institucionalnog okvira za miran suživot i napredak svih građana Bosne i Hercegovine. Dejtonski sporazum daleko je od savršenog, ali nije ispravno adresirati ga kao izliku za neuspjeh.

Abstract (english)

Integration into international organizations is a key way of securing the stabilization of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Accession to the NATO Alliance and the European Union carries a number of institutional strengthenings of the existing arrangement as defined by the Dayton Peace Agreement. It is necessary to make use of the prospects offered by membership in these organizations in order to undertake serious reforms and adjustments in order to establish a quality institutional framework for peaceful coexistence and progress of all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Dayton Agreement is far from being perfect, but it is not right to address it as an excuse for failure.
