Abstract

Važnost brendiranja i imidža države raste iz dana u dan. Svojim brendiranjem države zauzimaju bolju poziciju na globalnom tržištu, što pridonosi ukupnoj dobrobiti cijeloj državi i njenim građanima. Državu kao brend određuju njeni politički predstavnici, organizacije, poduzeća, izvozni proizvodi, mediji, ali i sami građani. Bosna i Hercegovina je kompleksna politička tvorevina koja je duboko podijeljena i treba provesti reforme kako bi napredovala. Upravo su politička kompleksnost i podijeljenost države jedni od glavnih razloga lošeg imidža Bosne i Hercegovine u svijetu. Kao očekivano većina članaka pisana je negativnim tonom prema Bosni i Hercegovini. Također, Bosna i Hercegovina je većinom predstavljena kao država duboke podijeljenosti. Napredak se vidi u odmaku od epiteta ratne države, koji je vrlo nisko zastupljen.

Katica Vincetić: The image of Bosnia and Herzegovina on Swiss, German and Austrian Internet portals
The importance of branding a state and the state image is growing day for day. Whit branding the state gets a better position on the global market, which contributes to the overall well-being of the entire state and it's citizens. The country as a brand is determined by it's political representatives, organizations, enterprises, export products, the media, as well as citizens themselves. Bosnia and Herzegovina is a complex political entity that is deeply divided and needs to undertake reforms in order to progress. The political complexity and the fragmentation of the state is one of the main reasons for the bad image of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the world. As expected, most of the articles were written in a negative tone to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Also, Bosnia and Herzegovina is mostly represented as a deeply divided country. Progress is seen in the distortion of epithets of the state of war, which is very low.
