Abstract

Rad daje uvid u teorijsko određenje odnosa s javnošću u sportu te istražuje stanje odnosa s javnošću u hrvatskim rukometnim klubovima. U teorijskom se dijelu objašnjava koncept sporta, njegovi najvažniji aspekti te značaj sportskih manifestacija. Nadalje, prikazana su glavna obilježja odnosa s javnošću i sličnosti sa srodnim disciplinama, navedene su tehnike i alati, prikazana povezanost s tehnologijom te su navedeni djelatnici odnosa s javnošću. Također je prikazano kako odnosi s javnošću funkcioniraju u sportskim organizacijama, koje su im funkcije, publike i ciljevi te kakvi su im odnosi s medijima i kako funkcioniraju u krizama, a na kraju su definirane glavne prednosti i nedostatci. Teorijski dio prikazuje i stanje i važnost hrvatskog rukometa (povijest, najveće rezultate i dostignuća). Istraživački dio analizira stanje odnosa s javnošću u hrvatskim rukometnim klubovima u svrhu čega su na uzorku od dvanaest sugovornika provedeni dubinski strukturirani intervjui te dobiveni rezultati.

Abstract (english)

This thesis gives an insight in the theoretical determination of public relations in sport and explores the state of public relations in Croatian handball clubs. The theoretical part gives an explanation of the concept of sport, its most important aspects and the meaning of sport events. Furthermore, the thesis defines the main features of public relations and its common features with the related disciplines, explains the techniques and tools used in public relations, explores the connection of public relations and technology, and enumerates the public relations staff. It is also analyzed how public relations functions in sport organizations, which its functions, audience and goals are, how it relates with the media and how it functions in crisis. In the end, its main advantages and disadvantages are defined. The theoretical part also presents the state and importance of Croatian handball (its history, greatest results and achievements). The research part analyzes the state of public relations in Croatian handball clubs. To this end, deep, structured interviews were conducted on a sample of twelve people.
