Abstract

Ovaj diplomski rad ima za svrhu produbiti razumijevanje koncepta uhljeba kroz analizu stilskih figura i retorike prisutnih u naslovima članaka na portalu Index.hr u 2021. godini. Kroz tematsku prizmu digitalnog medija, istraživanje se bavi razotkrivanjem različitih nijansi percepcije i komunikacije vezanih uz koncept uhljeba. Metodologija kvalitativne stilske analize korištena je kako bi se proučili naslovi koji sadrže riječ uhljeb, istražujući stilske figure, retoričke strategije te način na koji oblikuju javno mišljenje. Kroz ovu analizu, istraživanje razotkriva skrivene aspekte konceptualiziranja i potencijalnih predrasuda vezanih uz uhljeba u medijskom okruženju. Glavni rezultati istraživanja daju uvid u načine na koje se koncept uhljeba reinterpretira i konstruira kroz naslove članaka, istovremeno otkrivajući kako medij može oblikovati percepciju društvenih fenomena. Kroz sveobuhvatan pregled teorijske osnove, primijenjene metodologije, analiziranih naslova i postignutih rezultata, ovaj rad pruža originalan doprinos razumijevanju retoričke dinamike i medijske manipulacije povezane s konceptom uhljeba.

Abstract (english)

This paper aims to deepen the understanding of the concept of uhljeb through the analysis of stylistic figures and rhetoric present in the headlines of articles on the newsportal Index.hr in 2021. Through the thematic lens of digital media, the research focuses on uncovering various nuances of perception and communication related to the topic of uhljeb. The methodology of qualitative stylistic analysis was employed to examine headlines containing the term uhljeb investigating their use of stylistic figures, rhetorical strategies, and the way they shape public opinion. Through this analysis, the research reveals hidden aspects of stereotyping and biases associated with uhljeb within the media environment. The main results of the research provide insights into the ways in which the concept of uhljeb is reinterpreted and constructed through article headlines, concurrently revealing how the media can shape the perception of social phenomena. Through a comprehensive overview of the theoretical foundation, applied methodology, analyzed headlines, and achieved results, this paper offers an original contribution to understanding the dynamics of rhetoric and media manipulation associated with the concept of uhljeb.
