Abstract
Ovaj rad se bavi proučavanjem aspekata američkog afronacionalizma u filmovima Spikea Leeja. Ovaj rad nudi historijski pregled nacionalizma u Americi i Sovjetskom savezu te ih potkrepljuje najranijim primjerima iz filmske povijesti. Prikazom različitih nacionalističkih paradigmi i iščitavanjem političke retorike iz filmova, u ovom se radu analiziraju filmovi Malcolm X (1992), BlacKkKlansman (2018) i Do The Right Thing (1989). Analiza Leejevih filmova ukazuje na unikatnu, sinkretisitičku retoriku o afroameričkoj naciji, koja se iščitava iz njegovih filmova.
Abstract (english)
This work deals with the aspects of American afronationalism in the filmography of Spike Lee. It offers a historical view of nationalism in America and the Soviet Union and deals with their earliest examples on film. By showcasing nationalistic paradigms and reading the political rhetoric of the films, three of Lee's films are analyzed in this work: Malcolm X (1992), BlacKkKlansman (2018) and Do The Right Thing (1989). The analysis of the films display a unique, sincretist rhetoric on the Afroamerican nation, which can be read from Lee's films.
