Abstract

Europska unija je u svojim začecima bila glavni faktor koji je omogućio nakon Drugog svjetskog rata europskim zemljama gospodarski zamah i novi početak koji je jamčio političku i ekonomsku stabilnost. No s daljnjom integracijom, počeli su se javljati prvi izazovi na koje Europska unija nije imala pravi odgovor. U takvim okolnostima, razvio se čitav jedan pokret u zemljama članicama, a koji se odnosi na smanjivanje utjecaja Europske unije na zemlje članice i na uplitanje u unutar-državna pitanja članica. Naziv tog pokreta je euroskepticizam i na osnovama tog pokreta razvila se politička platforma diljem Europske unije sa sve većom biračkom podrškom. Jedna od stranaka koja je izrasla iz tog političkog inkubatora euroskepticizma je i francuska politička stranka Nacionalni front. U tekstu se detaljno analizira politika stranke Nacionalni front prema politikama Europske unije, njezin povijesni razvoj, previranja unutar same stranke, razlog njezinog jačanja i buduća perspektiva u francuskom političkom sustavu kao i u Europskoj uniji.

Abstract (english)

European Union from its very beginning was the main factor that enabled European countries in the aftermath of the World War II economic momentum and a new beginning, which guaranteed political and economic stability. Along with further integration first challenges had surfaced, to which European Union had no right answer. In that circumstances the whole new movement was developed in EU member states, which concerns the reduction of the EU influence on member states and interference in their intergovernmental questions. The name of the movement is Euro scepticism, and onits basis a political platform was developed throughout the Europe with growing electoral support. One of the parties which grew out of that euro sceptical political incubator was the French political party National Front. This thesis brings a thorough analysis of the politics of the National Frontparty towards the politics of the European Union, its historical development, turmoil within the party itself, reasons ofits strengthening and its future perspective in the French political structures, as in the European Union.
