Abstract | Razvoj društvenih mreža stvorilo je priliku za mnoge kreatore digitalnih sadržaja da postanu vidljiviji. Među njima su i formati podcasta koji sve više iskorištavaju mogućnosti promocije. Podcast je audio vizualni sadržaj koji se u obliku epizode može preuzimati i slušati putem intreneta. Ozbiljniji rast podcasta u svijetu dešava se u zadnjem desetljeću, dok je u Hrvatskoj primjetan rast kreiranja i slušanja tek posljednjih nekoliko godina. Zbog velike količine sadržaja koji su prisutni na društvenim mrežama, kreatori osmišljavaju nove vrste podcasta kako bi uspjeli privući publiku. U današnje vrijeme postalo je teško odrediti točne podjele i vrste podcasta jer dolazi do miješanja različith elemenata pojedinih vrsta. U svijetu je aktivno više od 5 milijuna podcasta, a svake godine se značajno povećava broj slušatelja. Najpopularnije platforme za objavljivanje i slušanje podcasta su Spotify, YouTube i Apple Podcasts, a u dodatnoj promociji sadržaja koriste se društvene mreže poput Tik Toka, Instagrama i Facebooka. Društvene mreže pružaju mogućnost zarade jer kroz razne oblike kreatori imaju priliku monetizirati svoj sadržaj. Podcasti mogu privući veliki dio publike zbog objavljivanja sadržaja na društvenim mrežama. Većinom se radi o mlađoj populaciji koja je najaktivnija na digitalnim platformama. Prvi dio rada obuhvaća teorijski dio gdje se govori o povijesti podcasta, vrstama i prednostima podcasta. Uz to, spominje se uloga digitalnih platformi u razvoju podcasta i načini monetiziranja sadržaja. U drugom dijelu rada se provodi istraživanje na temu razvoja podcasta putem društvenim mreža – studija slučaja podcast 3SOMA. Za istraživanje se koristila metoda studije slučaja uz intervju i anketu. Kroz istraživanje se pokušalo otkriti kakve teme najviše privlače publiku i koji sve faktori utječu na to. |
Abstract (english) | The development of social media has created opportunities for many digital content creators to increase their visibility. Among them, podcast formats have increasingly leveraged promotional opportunities. A podcast is an audiovisual content that can be downloaded and listened to in episodes via the internet. The significant growth of podcasts worldwide has been observed over the last decade, while in Croatia, the increase in both the creation and listening of podcasts has only become noticeable in recent years. Due to the vast amount of content available on social media, creators are devising new types of podcasts to attract an audience. Today, it has become difficult to clearly categorize and define podcast types, as elements of different genres are often mixed. There are currently more than 5 million active podcasts globally, with the number of listeners increasing significantly each year. The most popular platforms for publishing and listening to podcasts are Spotify, YouTube, and Apple Podcasts, while social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook are used to further promote the content. Social media also offers earning opportunities, as creators can monetize their content through various means. Podcasts can attract a large audience, particularly because they are promoted on social media. This audience is mostly younger, as they are the most active on digital platforms.The first part of this work covers the theoretical aspect, discussing the history of podcasts, their types, and their advantages. Additionally, it mentions the role of digital platforms in the development of podcasts and the ways in which content can be monetized. The second part of the work involves research on the development of podcasts through social media, focusing on a case study of the podcast "3SOMA." The research was conducted using a case study method, along with interviews and surveys. The study aimed to discover which topics are most appealing to the audience and what factors influence this. |
