Abstract

Ovaj se rad temelji na proučavanju analize stila native članaka na hrvatskom lifestyle portalu Journal.hr. Svrha istraživanja bila je istražiti kako se koristi retorička strategija za privlačenje čitatelja te na koji način se postiže ravnoteža između informativnog i promotivnog sadržaja. Istraživanje je provedeno na uzorku od trinaest native članaka napisanih i objavljenih na spomenutom portalu, koji su radu, u više navrata, detaljno analizirani kroz upotrebu različitih stilskih figura poput hiperbola i epiteta. Cilj ove vrste članaka, kako je pokazalo i istraživanje, je zadobiti pažnju čitatelja i nagnati ga na isprobavanje i/ili kupnju proizvoda/usluge o kojima se piše. Ustanovljeno je kako autori na portalu Journal.hr, pomnom upotrebom stilskih figura, s lakoćom dolaze do svog cilja.

Abstract (english)

The thesis focuses on the analysis of the style of native articles on the Croatian lifestyle portal Journal.hr. The purpose of the research was to investigate how rhetorical strategies are employed to attract readers and how a balance is achieved between informative and promotional content. The study was conducted on a sample of thirteen native articles written and published on the mentioned portal, which were meticulously analyzed multiple times through the use of various stylistic devices, such as hyperbole and epithets. The aim of these types of articles, as the research demonstrated, is to capture the reader's attention and motivate them to try and/or purchase the product or service being discussed. It was found that the authors on Journal.hr, through careful use of stylistic devices, effortlessly achieve their goal.
