Abstract

Ovaj rad nastoji pronaći kontinuitet između revolucionarnih pokreta mobiliziranih obećanjem dolaska drugačije (bolje) budućnosti koju je Marx najavio u Komunističkom manifestu 1848. Pretpostavka je da je poraz tih nastojanja integralan samoj logici komunističkog obećanja, odnosno da zbog činjenice da je budućnost otvorena, nepredvidiva, taj revolucionarni proces traganja nikad ne može biti završen. Kroz analizu raspoloženja koje nastaje nakon (nužne) „propasti“ tih pokreta (budući da uvijek postoji diskrepancija između željenog i ostvarenog na terenu), nastoji se uspostaviti veza između revolucija o kojima piše Marx i suvremenih revolucionarnih nastojanja. Zbog te nedovršivosti, sablast Marxa ne prestaje proganjati, kako sile poretka koje su tim obećanjem ugrožene, tako i one koji se s ciljem materijalizacije iste mobiliziraju, pa i samog Marxa. U pokušaju uspostave željenog kontinuiteta analizirao sam Marxove spise koji nastaju neposredno nakon revolucija 19. stoljeća i usporedio ih s tekstovima i predavanjima nekih od ključnih (bivših) Syrizinih dužnosnika nakon poraza revolucionarnih nastojanja u Grčkoj 2015. te s intervjuima provedenim s petero aktivnih sudionika studentskih pobuna 2009. u Hrvatskoj. Teza je da se taj tip progona sablasti, koji se nastoji identificirati kod Marxa, nije prestao zbivati sve do danas, odnosno da je taj progon integralan nastojanjima da u ime revolucije materijaliziramo sablast komunizma ili da, u ime poretka, istu odagnamo.

Abstract (english)

This paper seeks to find continuity between revolutionary movements that were mobilised by the promise that better future is coming, the promise given by Marx in Communist Manifesto. The main assumption is that the defeat of these struggles is integral to the structural logic of the promise itself. Because of the fact that the future remains open, unpredictable, this revolutionary process can never be finished. By analyzing the mood that emerges after the (necessary) failure of these movements (because there is always a discrepancy between the wanted goals and what was really achieved), I try to make a connection between revolutions that Marx writes about and contemporary revolutionary struggles. Because of this inability to materialize the revolutionary promise, specter of Marx keeps haunting both the „forces of order“ threatened by that promise and those who mobilise with the goal of fulfilling that promise (this includes Marx himself). In the attempt to find above mentioned continuity, I had analyzed Marx's texts he wrote immediately after the revolutions of 19th century and compared them with text and lectures of some of the most prominent (ex) Syriza's party officials after its failure to implement revolutionary program. I also made the same comparison based on the interviews with five active participants of the student rebellion of 2009 in Croatia. The main thesis is that the same specter that was haunting Marx never stopped haunting those who try to make communist promise a reality but also those „forces of order“ who try to banish it.
