Abstract

Cilj ovog diplomskog rada je povezivanje stilskih karakteristika američkog mjuzikla 60tih s političkim i društvenim stanjem toga vremena. Kroz rad predstavljana je povijest razvoja samog mjuzikla uz generalnu povijest i društvena dešavanja. Rad je razrađen kroz metode indukcije, dedukcije, analize i sinteze, dokazivanja, deskripcije, komparacije i kompilacije.
Nakon predstavljanja povijesnog razvitka i glavnih obilježja, rad se bavi zbivanjima u 60tima te utjecaju istih na američki mjuzikl. Kroz navođenje glavnih američkih mjuzikla spominju se stilske osebitnosti i karakteristike američkog filmskog mjuzikla.
Povezivanje stvarnog svijeta i ideala prikazanih u mjuziklima glavna je okosnica rasprave ovog rada te temelj zaključka.

Abstract (english)

The aim of this graduate thesis is to connect the stylistic features of the 60s American musical with the political and social conditions of that time. Throughout the work, the history of the development of musical itself has been presented with general history and social events. Work has been elaborated through the methods of induction, deduction, analysis and synthesis, proofing, descriptions, comparisons and compilations.
After presenting historical development and main features, the paper deals with events in the 60s and their impact on American music. Through the mention of major American musicals, the stylistic pertinences and characteristics of American film musicals are mentioned.
Connecting the real world and the ideas presented in the musicals is the cornerstone of the discussion of this work and the underlying conclusion.
