Abstract

Cilj istraživanja ovog diplomskog rada je dobiti uvid u percepciju javnosti o hrvatskoj blogerskoj sceni. Istraživanje je napravljeno radi interesa autorice prema blogovima te zbog toga što slično istraživanje do sada nije provedeno. Metoda koja se koristila za ovo istraživanje je anketni elektronski upitnik, a uzorak je ukupno tvorilo 700 ispitanika. U radu su postavljene četiri hipoteze od kojih su dvije potvrđene, jedna djelomično potvrđena te jedna opovrgnuta. Teza koja tvrdi da čitanje blogova u Hrvatskoj nije ciljno već slučajno je potvrđena, kao i ona da korisnici ne razlikuju influensere, blogere i online kolumniste. Djelomično potvrđena teza je da blogeri imaju moć kreiranja trendova i utjecaj na pratitelje. Jedina opovrgnuta teza je da su načitaniji blogovi o njezi i ljepoti. Zaključak rada je kako je blog kao medij u svojih 14 godina u Hrvatskoj znatno evoluirao, no kako postoji puno prostora za napredak.

Abstract (english)

The aim of research in this thesis is to gain an insight into the public perception of the Croatian blogger scene. The research is made because of the authors interest in the topic and because of the fact that similar research has not been conducted so far. The method used for this research is an electronic survey, and the sample was made up of 700 respondents. Four hypotheses have been set out in the paper, two of which are confirmed, one is partially confirmed and one is denied. The thesis arguing that reading blogs in Croatia is not targeted but accidental is confirmed, as well as the one that consumers do not differentiate the influencers, bloggers and online columnists. A partially affirmed thesis is that bloggers have the power to create trends and influence readers. The only thesis that is refuted is that the most read blogs are the ones about care and beauty. The conclusion is that the blog as a medium in Croatia has evolved considerably in its 14 years of existence, but that there is plenty of room for progress.
